"It ain't nothing but a thing." Oh, really. I would never have known that. And other than an amazing bit of tautology, what has the speaker demonstrated?
I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but this has been driving me crazy for a couple of years now: healthful. As in, "this is such a healthful meal....." AUGH! Since when did we need to replace the word healthy? You hear this on Food Network Channel all the time.

George Carlin had a whole routine on that. He noted that what you eat isn't healthy; it's dead. Food can be healthful, but is definitely not healthy.
I know I'm old, but this one drives me to distraction.
What happened to "You're welcome"?
Now if you say "thank you" you get "no problem!".
I think that is SO RUDE!
i'm confused....why do you think this is so rude?
"you're welcome" is fine. "No problem" seems fine to me also. unless i'm missing something! Do explain!

I just think it erases all trace of graciousness. Instead of being polite and acknowledging the person's thank you, you are belittling the effort, saying that you didn't go out of your way, so don't worry about it.
Yeah, Fred. All the tossing around of Hispanic words is the fad. When I see "Hola" it makes me want to hit somebody...:-)
Although the "problemo" thing, like "no comprendhe" or whatever it is has been around all my life, I think.
I find it very annoying when someone starts their sentences with "OK." I always think, maybe you should take a few minutes to think about what you want to say, rather than just opening your mouth and letting words fall out.
