Newsflash!

"Rolls Eyes" and the corresponding emoticon is getting tired quickly.

Or the wink icon. Emoticons are just getting annoying period, except the huge grin one, I always like that one.

Personally there is not an emoticon more self righteous and annoying than this guy:

Just look at him. that little smirk.

Is there any way this guy can do anything but make my post seem smug?

Even his name, 'cool' is ridiculous.

The very word "emoticon" is irritating! I must be getting old; I don't understand why I need a silly little picture to help convey what I think. (Then again, I also majored in journalism at school, so I'm perfectly capable of using words to express myself. And spelled correctly, too!)

One of the only

There is no such thing. It should be "The only" or "One of the many" or One of the few.
That's right up there with "most unique". Grrrr, makes me grind my teeth.

"The bittersweet smell of clean negro"

I don't know how this started or where this originated from, but I'm hearing it more and more around my area.

"nothing doing". I'm not even sure what it means or when you're supposed to use it. I'm pretty sure it means 'Im not doing it, not going to happen, etc' but it just sounds like to totally unconnected words.
