There is a member who is a very frequent poster on the Indiana forum who HATES Chicago and thinks that Indianapolis is the land of milk and honey. He seldom uses punctuation, never uses a dictionary and plans to run for mayor of Indianapolis.
Both of the replies I quoted in my post belong to that member.

Reminds me of the time I was on a charity bike ride and I overheard a conversation between two riders before the start of the race. One asked the other, "What does 50K mean?" The other replied, ""50 miles."

I'm not catching this one. They are different, although the Imperial gallon is closer to 19.21 ounces. If you are putting fuel in an airplane, it's best to know which one you are getting.
