If not, you might suggest that this would be an excellent name for the unique breed that she owns.

Excellent suggestion!

She also has several betta fish, which she always refers to as "bait-uhs."

There is a member who is a very frequent poster on the Indiana forum who HATES Chicago and thinks that Indianapolis is the land of milk and honey. He seldom uses punctuation, never uses a dictionary and plans to run for mayor of Indianapolis.
Both of the replies I quoted in my post belong to that member.

I heard this on local NBC news, just now: "The driver was transported to the hospital where they were pronounced dead."

Someone in C-D explaining liquid measurements.

"....The US has a 16oz liquid gallon whereas an Imperial gallon is 20oz."

Deflation?

Reminds me of the time I was on a charity bike ride and I overheard a conversation between two riders before the start of the race. One asked the other, "What does 50K mean?" The other replied, ""50 miles."

I'm not catching this one. They are different, although the Imperial gallon is closer to 19.21 ounces. If you are putting fuel in an airplane, it's best to know which one you are getting.
