While approaching a blind spot on a local road yesterday, I saw a sign that stated, "Caution--Limited Site".
Thinking that I might have been mistaken about what I saw, I decided to drive past that sign again, about an hour later.

No, I wasn't mistaken--unfortunately.

Posted in C-D: "....it is running rampid in our country."

A xeroxed sign in my local library included the word "recieve." When I mentioned it, the clerk said they knew and were going to make the correction.

So... why not immediately, if not sooner?

Aw, you beat me to it! The error was repeated in the post, so it's not a typo.

There's a thread on P&OC about Americans who don't know what "D.C." stands for. Two of the posters who seemed upset about this then referred to our country's capitol when they clearly meant "capital". I done educated 'em.
