Description: What was started primarily as a business school in 1962 has since grown to an accredited institution that is considered the largest private university in the state. Today, Sullivan has gained a reputation for its graduate employment record, the high numbers due in no small part to the lifetime employment assistance that helps graduates secure employment nationwide and around the globe. Students can earn career diplomas or certificates from Sullivan University in as little as nine months, and they can attend college at a time that fits their schedules; classes are offered during the day as well as on evenings and weekends, and online courses are also available. Sullivan University offers a variety of majors—accounting, pharmacy, and travel/tourism are just a few—and there are even courses for training paralegals, future law enforcement officers, medical assistants, and professional nannies. It’s also the home of its flagship program, the respected National Center for Hospitality Studies, where future chefs and caterers hone their skills.
