Description: Fans of fusion cuisine love the Pacific Rim flavors that award-winning chef Peng Looi serves up at his relaxed and trendy Bardstown eatery. Looi combines Asian influences with traditional Western techniques to create a delicious dining experience based on the use of fresh ingredients, tastes, and textures. Main-course selections can include items such as roasted quail with noodle galette, crisp spinach and warm shiitake-shallot sauce, or bacon-wrapped pork loin stuffed with goat cheese, spinach, and red pepper. A signature item is the wok-seared Pacific salmon with roasted shallot, tomato concasse, and Sichuan hot oil. Reservations are accepted for groups of any number seven days a week, and they’re recommended for the weekends. For special events like Derby week and New Year’s Eve, reservations are accepted three months in advance (although a credit card is required to hold a table for such events).
