Description: Open for dinner at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, L & N features one of the city’s most diverse wine lists, offering a carefully chosen bottle list from wine-producing regions all over the world, in addition to nearly 80 wines by the glass. Wines are available in two-ounce tastes, six-ounce glasses, or by the bottle, and all of the wines are served in varietally correct Riedel crystal stemware. Design your own wine flight, or let the staff create one for you. If the little restaurant has a homey vibe, that’s because the dining area is spread out in rooms inside of an old brick house in the Butchertown neighborhood. Exposed brick on the walls provides a nice backdrop as you peruse the extensive menu created by the chef, Rick Adams. The list of bistro/comfort-food fare includes items such as the house-smoked pork chop with Granny Smith apple and mission fig compote, and bison strip au poivre.
