Description: Located across the river from downtown Louisville, the Derby Dinner Playhouse is one of the country’s oldest and largest, continually operating dinner theaters. Since opening in 1974 under the general management of Carolyn Thomas, attendance at the Derby Dinner Playhouse has grown to over 200,000 patrons per year, with 8,000 season subscribers, and more than 3 million visitors have been attracted in all. Guests enjoy a variety of musical entertainment productions after helping themselves to a lavish buffet that features classic American cuisine. In addition to a variety of vegetables, fish, beef, and turkey, selections include a full salad bar, hot rolls, desserts, and beverage. A full bar is available as well. Single tickets average $35 per person, depending on the time of day and time of the show.
