Description: Dedicated to bringing the finest-quality theater to young people, teachers, and families, Louisville’s nationally acclaimed professional theater for young audiences is now in its seventh decade of existence. With a highly respected reputation among its contemporaries, the 501(c)3 nonprofit theater company has received numerous awards and commendations, including those from the American Alliance for Theatre & Education. Stage One also offers pre- and post-show discussions with the cast and crew, giving viewers a firsthand look at the life of a play as it is transformed from script to stage.
