The following food temperatures were measured before being transported to the Service Site (degrees F): Cooked Sliced Turkey - 208.1, Mashed Potatoes - 176.7, Cooked Peas and Carrots - 202.6. Food is transported to 45 to 50 shut-in seniors using hot boxes that are kept at 185 degrees F. Report e-mailed. |

Two hot food items were being prepared and their temperatures were measured to be as follows (degrees F): Chicken-A-La-King - 180.0 & Succotash - 183.9. These items were being added to self serve trays for distribution to individuals at their homes. The air temperature of a hot box used to transport these meals was 165 degrees F. The temperature of the Chicken-A-La-King going to the serving site is 180 degrees F. Report e-mailed. |
