No violation noted during this evaluation. | 07/09/2014 | Inspection | Food was delivered at ~11:15 AM. Staff check temperatures and then immediately serve food. Temperature of milk today at time of service was 43 dF. Facility has hand sanitizer available, which children and staff use before lunch. Recommend a temporary hand-wash station with soap and paper towels. Discussed with operator use of gloves when assisting children with their lunches. Discussed with operator what to do if food is above 45 dF when it is delivered; staff has been instructed to call and new lunches will be delivered if this every happens. Facility covers tables with plastic every day prior to serving lunch. |
No violation noted during this evaluation. | 07/17/2013 | Inspection | Interview with operator indicated that food is delivered at approximately 11:00, the temperature of the food is taken, and food is served at 11:30. Probe thermometer and gloves are present at the site. Temperature of orange sitting on table at noon was 62 degrees F. The orange was served at 11:30 and the air temperature was 91 degrees F (no violation observed for cold-holding). Recommend having a temporary hand-wash station available for the children, and for any staff who will come in contact with the food while assisting the children. |
