  • 229.167(p)(11)(C)rodents. Observed rodent dropping in back of store in warehouse. Observed a dead bird that appeared to have been partially eaten by rodent stuck on glue trap used to control rodent activity.
  • 229.165 (m) (2)non food contact dirty. Area where eggs are displayed needs to be cleaned and free of dried, broken eggs. Cartons of eggs for sale must be free of debris from broken eggs. Freezer where pies, cool whip and ice cream are kept have and unreasonable amount of ice and condensation as does the back walk-in freezer #2 causing a risk of contamination of food items.

  • 229.164 (o) (6) (A) PHF>135. Found tamales made between 8 and 9 this morning temping at 90 - 110 degrees F. a 2 this afternoon. Pulled from shelf and disposed of.
  • 229.165 (m) (1) (A)not clean. Equipment used in storing food not cleaned. Bulk spice containers and sauce containers very dirty on inside and outside of containers, shelving dirty, oil has run into spice containers causing them to form clumps. On top, behind, beneath all shelving units in deli prep area needs to be cleaned and sanitized. Do not leave tongs used for cooking on top of dirty gloves on top of dirty work surfact.

  • 229.165 (g) (1) equipment not sufficent. One unit taken out of service due to unable to maintain product temperature. PHF were discarded and remainder moved to functioning unit. Ensure that service is ordered for multiple units observed with excess ice build up from condensation. Both walk-in freezer in back as well as several coolers throughout store were found with ice build up.
