Our Department received a complaint from a customer who states that he purchased a sub platter from this establishment on 2-14-10. Ten of the
seventeen people who ate from this platter became sick Tuesday (2-16-10) with diarrhea and vomiting. The complainant states that the people
who became ill shared no other meal.
Met with the Manager (Jeff Cartwright) and discussed the complaint. To his knowledge, no employees were sick during the time in question.
The establishment has a posted written employee health policy. Employees went thru refresher training on 1-26-10 and signed off on the policy.
During this visit, I observed good hand washing and glove use.
Temperature of ham stored on the sandwich top was 39f. The inside of the unit was 32f
The temperature inside the walk-in was 36f.

No violations observed during this inspection.
