Violation 47 A**: 4-601.11 Equipment, Nonfood-Contact Surfaces
• Inside of bar cooler in need of cleaning ( by cash register).
(C) NonFOOD-CONTACT SURFACES of EQUIPMENT shall be kept free of an accumulation of
dust, dirt, FOOD residue, and other debris.
Violation 54 B: 6-202.11 Light Bulbs, Protective Shielding.
• Bulbs in walk-in cooler need protective covering.
(A) Except as specified in ¶ (B), light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-
resistant in areas where there is exposed FOOD; clean EQUIPMENT, UTENSILS, and LINENS; or unwrapped SINGLE-SERVICE and SINGLE-USE ARTICLES.
(B) Shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant bulbs need not be used in areas used
only for storing FOOD in unopened PACKAGES, if:
(1) The integrity of the PACKAGES can not be affected by broken glass falling onto them;
and
(2) The PACKAGES are capable of being cleaned of debris from broken bulbs before the
PACKAGES are opened.
(C) An infrared or other heat lamp shall be protected against breakage by a shield surrounding
and extending beyond the bulb so that only the face of the bulb is exposed.

* At time of inspection, new restroom is being installed and baseboard heating has been removed. These activities have created much dust, a
protective drop cloth should have been put up during business hours to protect food / beverages.
* As noted previously, license is limited to heat and serve pizzas, hot pockets, and the like. Taverns are also able to serve presliced
cheese, crackers, cold sausage, pretzels, popcorn without needing a license. Evidence of additional service is noted in the basement:
homestyle oven / range, much single service plates and silverware, home-baked goods in the small homestyle freezer, several Nesco's and so on.
Extending beyond the current category 1 license could result in license revokation.
* In order to serve a greater variety of food, one of the following must occur:
1) Operator must upgrade license after proper approvals and installation of an approved food prep facility / kitchen.
2) The establishment is rented out for a private party and they are providing their own food, utensils, and equipment and removing what is
left when they are done and so on. The facility must be closed to the general public.
3) A licensed caterer provides the food.
