- ONE OF THE HOSE BIBBS ON A 4 WAY BRANCHED VALVE, AT THE MOP SINK FAUCET CONTAINED A SHUT OFF VALVE DOWN STREAM OF AN ATMOSPHERIC VACUUM BREAKER INSTALLED ON THE FAUCET. IN ORDER FOR THE ATMOSPHERIC VACUUM BREAKER TO FUNCTION PROPERLY, IT SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED UPSTREAM OF A SHUT OFF VALVE. THE OPERATOR CORRECTED THE SITUATION BY INSTALLING A SECOND ATMOSPHERIC VACUUM BREAKER ON THE HOSE BIBB CONTAINING THE SHUT OFF VALVE. THE VACUUM BREAKER NOTED ABOVE WAS INSTALLED BELOW THE POINT OF THE SHUT OFF VALVE. THEREFORE, THE VIOLATION IS CONSIDERED CORRECTED.
