    Observation: Quat ammonia sanitizer in pool food service area at >400 ppm.
    Correction: Adjust auto dispenser to dispense 200 ppm. The multi quat is approved at 150-400 ppm, however, at 400 ppm, the color comparator for 400 and for 500 ppm are very close in color and it is very difficult to determine whether the sanitizer is at 400 ppm. Maintain at 200 ppm, as that color of the color comparator is very distinct from the other colors. Test several times per week. If too strong, dilute with water and retest at closer to 200 ppm.   • TOXIC SUBSTANCES - SANITIZER CRITERIA
    Observation: In coffee service area, the quat ammonia was tested at 300 ppm. Based on the label, the quat needs to be maintained at 200 ppm. 200 ppm is one tablet for 1.5 gallons. The container used has less than 1/2 gallon of water. A half tablet is used for each container.
    Correction: Mix a full tablet in 1.5 gallons of water and split the mixed sanitizer in several containers. The quat ammonia is stable, when mixed, for many hours. Correct By: 19-Feb-2014
