My my my, this forum does slightly entertain me at times. I have just been told to go F**K myself........hahahaha. I don't mind at all, it was the response I expected from a direct message I sent and I am always thrilled to be proven right; I love volunteers.

I read the words in the posts here "literally" and when one posts that they are wanting to name a Container Gardening Shop I take their words posted as they are. I do not assume that they "mean" they are going...

The Vacation Man Will Soon Ride Again

Posted 03-03-2012 at 08:55 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

For a change, I don't have to go to work on Sunday. Or the next one! I'm going to kick back and enjoy life the way it was meant to be enjoyed...........on the road.

Where's Willie Nelson when you need him? Dadgummit, I could sure use his company and his guitar-strumming, but we'll leave his weed of choice at home. Ol' Case is taking to the road again sometime midmorning on Monday and he's going to head east. It's Tyler, Texas. It's tall pine...

Tucson in the '50s

Posted 03-02-2012 at 03:46 PM by bjgross

Some of my great memories include, Sahuaro school which was a boarding school for asthmatics, the Hidden House ice cream parlor, Hi-Corbett field, Saturday matinees, A Mountain, the Pago Pago restaurant and the Cleveland Indians spring training games.
I also lived on N....

Happy Texas Independence Day, Fellow Texans

Posted 03-02-2012 at 03:09 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

This is a big day in the state of Texas, as today marks Texas Independence Day. On March 2, 1836, Texas declared its independence, breaking from Mexico to form its own republic, paving the way to becoming a U.S. state in 1845. Different celebrations will be taking place in a variety of places throughout the state today and this weekend.

And they'll especially be celebrating...

A Hot Workplace Deadline: We Made It Happen

Posted 03-02-2012 at 11:24 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

My vacation may have already started, but I've still got unfinished business from earlier in the week, so I intend to get this thing done before it escapes my mind completely. And I'm not even supposed to be thinking about work right now when there are better, more important things for this writer to think about. Things like leisure, for example.

I'll get to that in another post. But I can't get over one good thing that happened at work earlier in the week...
