There's no word on its status yet, but the old water tower in West Frisco on Legacy Drive just south of Warren Parkway still stands. I hope they keep it standing for a while, even after the new (and larger) water tower next to it has come into play on the Frisco, Texas, landscape.

Why not? It's a tie to Frisco's more recent past, when Legacy was extended northward from West Plano into what has become the Stonebriar section of Frisco. The water tower I point to...
