Pets

Posted 11-08-2014 at 06:31 PM by aliasfinn

Here I sit broken hearted,
Tried training my dog but he is retarded.

The cat's on vacation, least that's what he said,
As the mice run around he stays in bed.

My Goldfish just floats, doesn't eat anymore,
I'm thinking of taking him back to the store.

I once had a turtle that I found in a well,
But he ran away and left me his shell.

The cat's waking up so I'll sign off now,
Both he and the dog are wanting their chow....
They call me Trinity

The world is more liberal in many ways and conservative in other ways, and that goes for the global spectrum...

#1 for 2014.

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014). I thought I'd check out Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's filmography before I saw this. So I saw Babel (2006) first and was hooked - especially the Japan and U.S. Mexican border storylines. Now I find out that it's the third in the Death trilogy, so I've got Amores perros and 21 Grams lined up for later. Birdman just grabbed me from the opening scenes, music, and did not let go until the final credits rolled. It's very...

Got Apartment!

Posted 11-07-2014 at 11:25 AM by iivona

I just wanted to share information on time it took from application to getting apartment. I applied in 2012 and got an interview on Dec 2013 at NYCHA. I picked Brooklyn because I was told it would be faster. In Feb 2014 I was sent a list of housing complexes in Brooklyn that may possibly have an opening coming up. I picked Stuyvesant Gardens 1. I received a call in October that they had apartment and I went in to see it and got it right away. I'm currently in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 15...
