Sort of like Fox News.

The Tea Party as a national movement certainly seems to embody the qualities that you mention. It may have been done intentionally to discredit the original local tea parties around the country that are still pretty angry about government waste & spending. I've been to a couple local tea party gatherings & I never saw right wing religious fervor, rascism or any indication that violence was the solution to our nation's problems. People didn't want some demagogue shrieking at them. They wanted to start on a local level & appoint people into office who would be fiscally conservative & adhere to the Constitution. There are too many temptations for politicians at the state & national levels. Its better to start locally then move those people up the ladders. Eventually everything boils down to a local level & I'd rather have people that understand how their friends & relatives are trying to survive rather than fat cats who are completely disconnected from reality making decisions for us.

64 pages and the liberals vitriolic criticism of Palin never ceases. Guess they didn't learn any lessons from Tuscon. The hateful rhetoric displayed on here is incredulous.

Stiff the only hateful vitriolic that is incredulous is all coming from you. A couple of weeks ago all of the decent posters seemed ready to drop this thread like a hot potato. However I see you need an outlet for your unneeded commentary so the thread satisfies your need. No one seems to be posting anything about your dear SP lately.
