Xa'at. Yes. I rented xc skiis from the university too....well I found out the hard way. I rented skiis from Foggy Mountain at 25 dollars a day...then someone told me I could rent them from UAS...for 3 dollars a day!!!

Isn't that new rec center THE "AWESOMEST"? All the neat stuff they have in there, including the ORC, etc etc. Great fun...

I KNOW!!! And you don't have to be a student to use the equip....kayaks, snowshoes...and really great people....You know that little pathway behind one of the buildings there on campus (I can't remember the name) that leads down to the little floating dock there on Auke Lake?? I was going to get married on that lake in the winter...until my then fiance bailed on me!!! Blech on him!!

I think that dock sunk, the one by the little gazebo behind the Whitehead building?
I was out there the other day, though. Completely frozen over!
