I had two days of -4 at the house the last couple days. Wasn't bad this morning driving to Anch...except for the 8 or 9 inches of snow on the road along Portage. What a mess that was. I do need the lake to freeze over so I can get to draggng logs out to the island. Seems every pond and lake has frozen but Kenai Lake and Skilak have not really started. Maybe it's the glacial silt or something.

The Nenana and Tanana rivers have both frozen over pretty well. We have one guy here that always is the first to Cross the Nenana River each year, we figure once he crosses, we have about a month before it is really safe...

I can send him down there if you need a "Consultant"....

Well I can always use some help wrestling those logs out of my shop! They are stacked up taking up 2 stalls!

If anyone is bored...I've got some pictures from the wedding on my phlog (photoblog) which you can see here:

http://spotted.peninsulaclarion.com/....php?id=318743

I have about another 100 to add but will take a couple days in doing that. I also need to add some comments but that could take the next 2 weeks!

Who was shooting that day? I like Sweden's pearls, were they a gift from her Mom?

She bought the necklace this last winter, and borrowed the pearl bracelet as part of the wedding tradition of something borrowed etc. But I did buy her a nice pearl bracelet as a small token of my appreciation the day after the wedding.

How the heck do you spell bracelet?
