Just talking to a person who is taking Grape Seed Ex for a little while now and has lost some interesting weight...so doing some research I found this link that says a lot about so much and even fighting cancer.

Just do a search on grape and cancers

And many links come up.

So many non believers and naysayers around here, it's truly amazing. So many tightly closed minds...

Not the grapes from your grocery store... and what is happening in the lab does not corresponds with a real life.
So don’t go and rush to buy supplements

And the article you linked to is already obsolete and somewhat debunked
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6164842/- resveratrol - double age sword:
“Additionally, low resveratrol doses (0.1–1.0 μg/mL) has been documented to enhance cell proliferation, whereas higher doses (10.0–100.0 μg/mL) induces apoptosis (Figure 2) and decreases mitotic activity on human tumors and endothelial cells [122]. “
Cell proliferation= cancer

“ one needs to drink hundreds thousands of glasses of wine” to get the benefit shown on mice

Another issue is a pesticides residue on grapes- it is nearly impossible to grow them without those toxic chemicals

That is pretty scarey ... I love green grapes, and agree they are difficult to wash. Gonna' stop eating them!

If and when I buy real grapes to eat, I buy organics and finding any with seeds was from another world and different time. I'm primarily talking about Grape Seed Extract which I'm banking on to prevent cancers. Grapes are antioxidants no matter how one gets them but I count on the Seed in the capsule form.

I have muscadine grape vines in my yard (native to my area). I have read they have more antioxidants than those European grapes you get from the grocery store, but I have no way of knowing if that’s true. I don’t like them refrigerated though, so I usually just eat them straight from the vine.

I believe it's Muscadines that are high in resveratrol. I like grapes but get my BEST benefit from my grape SEED extract capsules.

Dark skins of grapes have the highest amounts of resveratrol in edibles, much less so in green grapes
If you are interested in resveratrol : very invasive and becoming common weed has the highest amounts.
Before deciding to plant it- read how difficult if not impossible to get rid of it!
You can find it in the “ wild” around you perhaps, but make sure it is on private land, so no attempt to spray it with herbicides was made. Fall and spring is the best time ( highest content) to get the roots- that what you need.

Japanese Knotweed – New York Invasive Species Information

It is used by herbalists as one of the plants for treating the effects of the Lyme disease.

The link below is a summary of studies on resveratrol: but take it with the grain of salt- if studies were flowed by design( and many are)- this summary could be unreliable.
Notice the peanuts content of resveratrol- eat peanuts if you can!

Pomegranate seeds is another high powered food- proven to reduce plaques in artheries.

Grapes grown without pesticides, red wine and adding grape seed extract is getting the maximum benefits of each. There is a ton of information out there on the benefits of adding grapes and grape seed to your diet.
