Maybe it has nothing to do with the country or their leaders, but perhaps more people are being critical of Israel because they can. In the US it seems one is automatically labeled as an anti-Semite for saying anything negative of Israel.
I believe that Jews, not Palestinian Jews that have been living in Palestine during many centuries, should abandon Palestina for a new country called Israel.
The new Israel should be in a former German lander. After all, Germans created the mess.
Americans should help to rehabilitate Palestina since they are responsible for the declaration of 1948, and for the triomph of Israeli troops and the windrawal of the "Arab Legion" of Wingate,
A state of Israel in Europe could be very enriching thanks to their technology and culture, and the current state of Israel is not "sustainable" in that corner of the world. Plus, Europe is loosing inhabitants and most Jews in Palestina are Europeans.
Why are Americans talking about who Latin Americans favor like they know them or something? Most Americans just go to work, then come back and sit on their butt all day using the computer or watching tv. How are they gonna know what more of a dozen countries with 450+ million people spread out thousands of miles apart think of a dispute that is going on the other side of world?

European Jews should be in Europe.
Jews are Asians from the middle East and Europeans are Europeans. Jews are not ethnic Europeans. They have nothing to do with Europe's culture and ethnic groups. They did attempt to immigrate to Europe (Spain and Germany) and bad things happened in these two countries.

The European Jews of Israel currently make up 45% of the Israeli Jewish population. This is up from from 20% in 1948. So by your logic 3.4 Million Jews get to stay in Eretz Yisrael (the in the Middle East). So how does that anything?
