The Jews are the only people alive today that had a sovereign state in what is today Israel. No other people on earth have cultural or historical roots in the land. Israel is a secular state that wants to exist because it has every right to exist. They would do anything for peace including a two state solution which they have offered many times. By contrast, Hamas only wants a one state solution... with that one state being an Islamic one. They do not have historical ties to the land, but they are motivated by religious texts that tell them the Jews must be driven into the sea.

I know that Israel is in the Levant. To further clarify, it's said that Hebrews and/or so calked Jews originated from OUTSIDE of Israel, & possibly outside of the Levant.

Sorry, but you are wrong. My 111 DNA Marker Test shows me to be a Levant Jew with 98% certainty with no African markers and I am not an Arab.

Wrong. Various groups have their origins in the land & region. A Jewish state & a Muslim state is a foolish idea. At this point, everyone needs to just share the land in peace. The 1948 establishment of Israel was a horrible idea.
And you have some nerve to say that Palestinians don't have a right to live in THEIR land. Many Palestinians are descended in the region from ancient times. Many Palestinians (OF ALL RELIGIONS) descend from Hebrews & Jews & various peoples in the bible, thus entitling their right to that land!
There is nothing wrong with the Jews coming to the region but establishing a Jewish state & displacing non Jews is wrong.

Do you do realize that the Jewish homeland was established by the League of Nations in the 1920s, long before 1948? Did you watch the video I posted on page 3? The Jews, tired of being unwelcome in the countries they called home, decided in 1948 to claim the land they were given by the world so that they could live in peace without the threat of extermination. Israel is a liberal secular country where all people of all faiths including Arab Muslims are free to live.
Most Jews are not religious, and thus they see no reason to wait for the Messiah before establishing their state, so why should they have to wait for something most of them don't even believe in? The world agreed that the Jews were the only people had ever had a sovereign nation in the area, so they have a right to the light.
The Jews did not displace anyone, so I'm not sure where you're getting your racist attitude from. Many Arabs live in peace in Israel. The only ones who don't live in peace are the ones that want to drive the Jews in the sea, and establish the Islamic Caliphate.
