The preparation of the wedding where the COVID-19 was spread.

The event even made it to international Latino news. The wedding had a theme: the Coronavirus. I'm serious, that was the theme with people wearing masks as a way to make fun of it. Then people were infected by it, which obviously was not part of the plan. Talk about irony. In another circumstance this would be funny. SMH

Another news report of this, but this time has some shots of the event. SMH

Keep fooling around with a very serious crisis affecting thousands all over the world.

It's astounding how selfish and foolish some people can be in situations like this.

I feel sorry for the people they came into contact with who will be infected with Covid-19.

I also have to wonder what they were thinking about the coronavirus 'theme' for the wedding--pretty insensitive and seriously not funny.

Seems pretty typical of the wealthy and entitled anywhere around the world though.

Stay safe out there!

I'm impressed with how President Bukele is reacting to the COVID-19 threat in El Salvador. Not only has all rent, water, phone, internet, and electricity bills have been cancelled for the next three months. In addition, they are currently building a hospital in case a major outbreak takes place there.

Unbelievable in a good sense.

I don't know much about Bukele but the little that I've seen I like. Could teach the rest of LatAm leaders a thing or two that's for sure. I'll reserve final judgement but glad he's taking preventative measures and supporting his people early on.

Cuba decided to close all hotels and isolate all the tourists from the local population. I think it is somewhat late, but better late than never. It has to be one of the last islands in the Caribbean to take actions against COVID, the largest one to boot.

If all islands of the Caribbean fit in the DR together (excluding Cuba but including Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Haiti, Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamas plus all the islands of the Lesser Antilles and the ABC ones off the coast of Venezuela) and there is still plenty of land left, in Cuba the whole Caribbean fits together and they still have a heck of land left. That place is huge by Caribbean standards, the size of England while just the DR is roughly the size of Scotland. Doesn't excuse the late reaction to COVID by the Cuban government. It should had been the first island to take measures.

OMG, Jenny Polanco has died from CODIV. Dominican Republic is now officially in mourning for losing one of the greatest designers in the country. She was also considered one of the most influential woman in the country. RIP
