In The Bahamas, a fifth case of COVID-19 has been confirmed. Our Prime Minister has since instituted a countrywide 24-hour lockdown and curfew, except for essential services. When the Parliamentarians meet in the House of Assembly on March 30, they hope to pass a resolution to extend the lockdown for another 30 days, which will last till the end of April.

On Tuesday in Bogota, Cali & Pereira there was some looting going on lead mainly by Venezuelan migrants and some Colombians also. Some of the culprits caught have been deported or arrested.

Colombia is the only country in South America that has an open door policy with Venezuelan migrants. The rest of the countries demand near impossible to attain passports and visas ontop of that.

This Venezuelan youtuber living in Pereira condems their actions. Luckily it seems to have been a one-day thing and the nation has gone into shut-down for 19 days. It remains to be seen whether more disturbances occur.

There are some real characters walking around my street right now, turning door handles and asking for "food" for their "children". Nevermind that Pereira city govt has two coliseums, a soccer stadium and a convention center open for anyone who is hungry no questions asked.

We´re tightening up on the term "encerrados" now after seeing all this go down.

Be safe, friend. We´re trying over here.

Colombia is paying for the handout chavista-petrista generation. While the world is also paying for the ultra-capitalist path we were on with little value on social awareness. Mother nature is fighting back for its survival it's time for human kind to reflect and do things better.

What a way of practicing social distance in the Dominican Republic.

This is typical in supermarkets of the country. This one is Súper Bravo in Santiago, they have a bunch of stores in Santo Domingo and other places, currently expanding.

This one is a Súper Pola supermarket store in Santo Domingo.

Those lines are crazy and its just a regular queue, i see zero social distancing. Latinos have a harder time with that than most.

Unbelievable in a good sense.
Great idea but who is going to pay for this? Not charging for these services dont mean that they come free.
