I am desperate and serious. I have been locked(my choice to keep him away) in a room for 9 days, I have no access to money! I found a camper to move into with my three dogs. I need help moving my furniture into storage. I need to move ASAP to get away from my abusive husband. I cant go to a shelter and leave my dogs, he could harm them. He took my house key so if I leave, I leave what little I have left. I have been emotionally and financially abused by a totally controlling man and I am ready to leave and not look back but I really need help in Conway Arkansas!!!! He is so concerned with how he looks to everyone else that he will not be a danger and I will not take anything that he would object to. I am begging for help to get away and I cant pay for anything. I have called the hotlines and there is no help that way, only a shelter bed in another county.

But you can't blame the women. They are not. Some men hide all of their faults and charm them, but then become absolute monsters later. Sometimes, the women have come from a cycle of abuse in their childhood so it is all they know and have been convinced that is it is normal.

My "story" is actually my life. I didn't ask for money! I moved with him here to be closer to his family. He doesn't want anyone to know what he is like which is why I would never use his name. The police HAVE been called and because his abuse at the moment is verbal he was told to "keep the peace" and I have not been able to make friends that are not his, I have none. My family is almost 3000 miles away! Believe me, I know what mistakes I made that lead me here and I feel guilty and ashamed. I have no minister, going to church became a battle I could no longer fight. I don't know what I thought would happen by posting. I am just at a loss......a shelter will not let me keep my dogs, if I could get there.

I call BS.
Whenever these types of situations arise there was a 100% chance that ALL of her friends and ALL of her family told her numerous times that said guy (if this story is true) was obviously no good.
