Perhaps if enough of you email the developer about your name concerns they'll get the idea.

I wish the retail/entertainment portion of Aerotropolis would begin to that both of these projects will open at the same time

Well, that's problematical because Buckhead Village describes an area and there are probably already other businesses with that name. That's sport of like naming a project "Midtown."

Personally I think idea of naming real estate projects is kind of dumb. Just refer to them by their street address -- that makes them so much easier to find.

It's traditional to refer to hotels by name, and maybe it's okay with a few truly iconic towers. Other buildings should simply go by their address.

I agree. I think, too, these special names tend to separate the named district from the surrounding city, as opposed to simply treating them as an integral part of the city and not something separate. I've always thought that about Atlantic Station, but, then again, it is sorta apart from its surrounding city.

LOL, this name is even worse/more confusing than the old one. It's almost like that Abbott and Costello skit.

"Where did you go on your trip to Atlanta?"

"I was only there for a day, so I made sure to check out the shopping in Buckhead Atlanta."

"Oh, that's nice. Where did you go exactly in Buckhead?"

"Like I said, I went to Buckhead Atlanta."

"Yeah, but WHERE in Buckhead did you shop? Lenox? Phipps?"

"No. I shopped in BUCKHEAD ATLANTA?"

Who's on first?

I could go with this. I like this. The point is that it is located in Buckhead Village. It does not need a new name.

2879 Peachtree Road in Buckhead Village.

897 Buckhead Avenue in Buckhead Village.

Yes, I hate the new name as much as the first. Who are these morons?
