Well, according to aries4118 and a few other geography/demograph/map/cultural nerds, only North Florida is in the Southeast/American South.

Central+South Florida is...Florida--it's own separate/unique region.

Buckhead is overrated. Only people that live there(and I lived there) think it's all that. Sure it's a nice part of town but I laugh at how people talk it up. I'm sorry but Buckhead isn't nationally, much less internationally known.

Definitely in the Southeast. In fact Palm Beach is the largest agricultural county east of the Mississippi. If you've ever seen those huge citrus plantations and nursery farms you know what I mean. Wow!

Most of the people I hear talking up Buckhead are people who don't live there. I rarely hear that from folks who live around there.

Hard to figure.

Well... Are they people from other parts of the city or the south?

Awe, aries... And from the Free Dictionary.com:

Southeast A region of the southeast United States generally including Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.

It's gotta be in the Southeast. It sure as heck isn't in the Pacific Northwest.

No! I refuse, I tell ya...I refuse!

As God as my witness, North Florida is the only "Florida" in the Southeast/American South!

The American South/Southeast
Georgia
Alabama
Mississippi
South Carolina
Louisiana
North Carolina
Tennessee
North Florida (everything north of Orlando)
Arkansas
Kentucky (sans Cincinnati suburbs)
South Virginia (everything south of Fredricksburg--includes parts of present-day West Virginia).
