Wow, what an obnoxious comment. Spoken like someone with firsthand knowledge.

Lol! This is crazy talk. You want Alpha & Beta qualities...but Ive never meet any dudes that were passive aggresive like that. Where do you women come up with these frankenstien ideas? Kind? & Ambitious? Witty? & Educated? Its cool. Someone will bag you when you are old & less desirable. Not a diss Im just saying.

Why are these things considered impossible to find? My husband is certainly all of them, and I've met many men over the years who are. My husband is the funniest man I know, which is one of the reasons I married him. He's also tall and well-educated, ambitious and hard-working. Personally I'd almost consider those traits to be the bare minimum they're so commonplace.

It is likely a testament to the company he keeps.

Dating doesn't suck here, it's just that this city is still kinda building a good identity. So little lounges and bars are still in the making, and since our great city is so car dependent getting a lot of people 21-30 out may be a hassle since a lot of these places are in the perimeter and a lot of people live outside in the burbs... But anyway, I've had success honestly at a lot of malls, eating at food courts, simply shopping, running to Kroger, at the gym... Things like that. But then again, I'm a guy. But Going to Applebees or Chilis of Roswell Rd or Peasant Hill Rd is nice. Those places lately have been turning into mini lounges at night esp since they stay open until 2am. They even start playing music loud and set a good mood. People in ATL are more shy without a doubt and are more conservative, but that is slowly changing. You just have to catch them at the right time and moment to get a peek into what they are really into...

I didn't say take your first date there. I said going there and meeting people to eventually date.... You don't go to a high class place 100% of the time to meet people. You go somewhere mediocore to hang out and see what you find... SMH... Typical...

And where do you enjoy lounging after work for a cheap drink or bite to eat?

it depends on my mood

Cafe Intermezzo
Apres Diem
Fellinis in the Summer
The Darkhorse if I want to get drunk
The Majestic if I'm hung over.
Starbucks always works depending on location... I like the 24 hour location...
