I think Gwinnett is starting to see the light, after they lost a couple HQs because of MARTA.

Not with just "expanding" rail with one station they are not

It doesn't drive economic activity. It re-directs existing economic activity.

That can be good. But it doesn't mean it adds anything.

Unfortunately, rail ridership is down. Although it's just a slight decline over the last decade, it's really discouraging to see the city add so much density in its core while losing transit users. Ideally that should make for an increase in ridership.

That's what driving economic activity is. Relocating businesses from OTP to ITP near MARTA or from out of state to near marta rail. Saying it doesn't add anything is ridiculous.

May be down but it doesn't feel like it. Packed daily. Too bad other portions of the city don't have this luxury to take advantage of

If they reduce frequency, they will have more packed trains, but fewer of them.

Have they ever really done that though? Serious question.

A lot of OTP has but doesn’t have rail service yet. Rail should have been in North Fulton and East DeKalb years ago. Cumberland can only recently legally and feasibility obtain it and Gwinnett simply hasn’t allowed their populace a vote.
