Fortunately you're correct. Since there are 38902385770391847509384750923874 Mustangs with Flowmasters on them, there doesn't need to be any others.

If you put 5 kids in a play yard and give them all rattles they will all want the rattle that makes the most noise.

...and they will make more noise than a truck pull, Sturgis, and an air show put together. Trust me, I work at night and my neighbor has an in-home daycare. Her kids wake me up at 1500 hours every stinking day when she lets them out to play. I also live on a street with a bunch of straight-pipe Harleys and 3/4 and one ton diesel pickups with "blowin' smoke" stacks. There is an air force base about two miles away and fighters run drills overhead about once a week. All of that is loud but a bunch of five-year-olds can drown out automatic gunfire for chrissakes.

why do i like a nice sounding exhaust system?? well, i think it's in my DNA. After all, i sure ruined a bunch of trading cards as a kid putting them on my bike...... the sounds of us racing up and down the street, cards against spokes probably sounded like nails againast chalkboard to others.... oh well, I enjoyed it!

LOL

that was actually my point earlier, i can handle loud 'stang or a fart can much easier then someones dang barking dog or screaming child. sitting at a race track, the sound is music to my ears.... kids and dogs? not so much...

to each his own.

How right you are!

So let each person listen to their own annoying sounds alone if there is no reason for others to have to hear it.

I'm plagued by those loud exhausts also, it always makes me think:

"Buddy, you're a boy
make a big noise
playin' in the street
gonna be a big man some day
"

I wish someone who has a loud exhaust system on their car, would chime in here and explain why you feel your vehicles has to have this aftermarket system installed.
I am really curious as to what, the criteria in your minds dictates you need to have a loud exhaust system.
The same could be asked of motorcycle owners.
Bob.
