It's not absurd. You threw out a saying that YOU thought was profound, but which is childish. If you actually believe that saying, then how did you suddenly get "smart" a few years ago? And it would mean that by definition you were ignorant before you knew you needed the camera. That's just truth. Don't just like the saying when you want to use it.
Nonsense if I truly needed the help then I would have hit something by now. I haven't yet. Pity that.
