There's a link a few pages back to info on how GeoResonance's technology works. What appears to be 20 feet of water to you is actually at or near the bottom of the ocean. It's pretty fascinating, you might enjoy learning about the technology.
It was only fueled for a 2500 mile flight and has a range about three times that far. It wasn't too heavy to climb that high.
This is one of the sticking points for me; only because of all the previous "factual" information handed out earlier and then retracted. I wonder if this might have been intentionally given incorrectly. Fuel amount actually in the plane vs. the amount recorded. Also, did they ever release the actual cargo information?
Are you seeing activity in the Bay of Bengal where they said the plane might be?
