lol bias much? the talent is a slight edge to the rockets? hmmmmmm ill just say i definitely disagree.
Only because the Spurs are older.
Spurs operate as a team. Rockets - not as much. That's the difference.

Are you a Rockets fan Drob?
I am a Sixer fan first. Rockets - I see the games on TV - I guess I have grown to be a fan. I have no problem calling out incompetence on their part when it exists.
I think the talent is even, maybe a slight edge to the Rockets - Spurs definitely have the coaching edge.
Best player on the floor is certainly Harden, but without Beverly, without Montiejunas, and Howard being a shell of his former self, I'll definitely side with Spurs on talent.
On the production end - I would put Motiejunas ahead of Splitter if you are including the injured.
Duncan's advantage is not that great right now - I was calling that one even on the talent end. Years ago - yeah I agree, Duncan wins hands down.
so are we talking "talent" or "production" tim is still well more talented than any rocket big.
at nearly 40 years old he is doing 14ppg, 9 rpg, 3 apg, 2 bpg in 29 mpg through 74 games
splitter 8ppg, 5rpg, 1.5 apg, .7 bpg through 52 games in 20 min
dmo 12 ppg, 6 rpg, 2 apg, .5 bpg through 72 games
howard 16 ppg, 10.5rpg, 1 apg, 1 bpg in 38 games
even at his age his production is still very close to howard (on the back end of howards prime) and is better than dmo
per 36 min
duncan 16.9/11.4/3.7/2.4
splitter 15/8.8/2.7/1.3
d mo 15.1/7.4/2.3/.6
howard 18.9/12.5/1.5/1.4
so howard is slightly more productive on per 36, but hes played so few games its hard to say what his numbers would be. they are currently down from last year but about the same as the year before.
times are down slightly from last year and actually down pretty good on 2 years ago. dmo is up on points down on rebounds. splitter is pretty much consistent his whole career on average.
so so i think youre confusing or interchanging production with talent.

Tony>Any rockets pg
Harden> any Spurs sg
Leonard>any rocket sf
Duncan>any rocket pf
Howard>any Spurs c
Production
Tony
Harden
Leonard
Tim
Splitter (because of Howard's missed games)
Then throw in the reserves, Manu>any rocket reserve on talent and production. Diaw tight with him.
