Reading two mysteries set in Israel, modern era—police procedural but also social commentary which makes it more interesting/insightful to me—main character is Hadas Levinger, female, divorced, attorney turned detective—Which makes her an outsider in her community

Read first one today and started 2nd one “The Hit” right away-they are Kindle Unlimited so read for free w/my Amazon membership
Michal Hartstein is the author == has written some other things as well
