We have got to be the dumbest state in the Union.

First a multi-millionaire republican movie star who can't even pronounce the name of the state, then we elect a republican billionaire corporatist? Give me a break, how dumb can we possibly be

And I love her Raggedy-Anne haircut. Looking forward to watching her go down in flames, after spending a few more millions..

You know, I had always thought that it would be great if we elected people who were not career politicians. Well nevermind!

Be careful what we ask for. Actual politicians scarcely run for gov. in California anymore. First Arnold now this?

Maybe if Brown hadn't already sold out and pandered to the unions then I might consider him, but not likely considering his actions so far. None of this candidates are inspiring much hope. I don't see how electing Brown is any better here, might as well just give the legislature a blank check. It's funny how people focus so much on the governors seat when its the legislature that seems to cause most of the problems with their BS yet they keep getting reelected, gotta vote the party line I guess.

thank god it is those of you in CA that have the choice to make, I would be lost if it were me. Either way it is going to be bad news, but I could never support Brown.

What's really lame is that the other Republican running against Whitman is pandering to the hard right by claiming he will rid California of illegal immigrants or at least stop all public services to the illegal. That may or may not mean Poizner will win the Republican primary. But then he would have to completely disavow all the anti-immigrant talk or face an overwhelming loss against Brown. Two things that really hurt Whitman is that she is Republican & voted against gay marriage. The hate response will be ugly. California will go with Jerry Brown for better or worse [but it really doesn't matter who becomes governor since they are all alike rather Republican or Democratic].

She actually could have saved all the public schools with all the money she's spent on trying to get elected to save the public schools.

And to Nmnita... No offense but, I really wish you'd stop commenting about California's elections (at every opportunity) and who you would/wouldn't vote for if you lived here... you don't. Is it really this boring in Arkansas?
