See's is a Western company. I had never heard of them until I moved to Utah. They are in Dallas and I guess spreading east.
Their chocolates are very good, almost as good as Godiva but much cheaper.
Funny, Godiva was never one of my favorites. Growing up in Philadelphia, I was very fond of Marquetand's Butter Creams. I don't even know if the company still exists. When we moved to NEPA, I used to buy a wonderful sweet called AnnaClair's at the Globe Store in Scranton (that's gone)
Zitner's was a manufacturing company in Philadelphia and when I was little, once in a great while, for Easter, I would get something in my basket from the Zitner company. But when I first had a Butter Krak, I knew that I was in love. Missed them for many years after moving away. Found again only to lose them when the company closed!! But some entity bought the Zitner company, (kept the name) and once again, the world is right. A very creamy center, enrobed in a very heavy coating of dark chocolate in which toasted coconut is embedded. Krak is an appropriate name.

Godiva, to me, certainly isn't worth the money but See's, well if you have tried it, you can't knock it. If you have tried it that is different. Yes, like Sothernbelle mentioned, the company used to be only in Ca, but have ventured east and we can even get it in NWA, but not many places. As for their choc eggs, I really can't imagine any that would be better, but then, I haven't tried than many...

I agree! When we were kids, we each got one of their fudge chocolate eggs on Easter (they're huge)....there is no taste in the world like See's chocolate.
All this talk of chocolate, and I want seafood. I can't wait to go trout fishing. I look forward to catching a trout, taking it home or to the camp site stuff it with good stuff and grill it. That would be my preference.

Well I tell ya what: you go camping, invite us to the campfire for that wonderful trout you just caught and I will bring the wine and a box of See's candy.. How does that work for ya?
LOL! We'll find ya......you'll be the one with the trout on the grill.
Fish
See's chocolate
Add margaritas and I'm game!
There will be no blenders. Whiskey and vodka. Bloody Mary's sound good.
