Good morning everyone! I'm sitting here watching big snowflakes dancing around my window--actually uplifting and pretty! For some reason snow has always calmed me.....the cold not so much.
Wolf, each case of ALS is so different and I am beyond sorry to hear how fast your lovely wifes has progressed. It scares me to hear it although I have seen it up close and personal with a very dear friends husband. He also had a fast moving ALS. Still I try to live for today--even though there is no escape from what our future holds. I don't think I am ready to even think about what I know is going to happen to my DH...not yet. God bless you for being there for your wife.

Snowing here also. It is soothing and even pretty as long as you don't have to drive in it
For some reason the snow has always been calming for me....even as a child--I felt safe when it was snowing and then to wake up in the morning and see the pine trees heavy with fresh fallen snow--just amazing and beautfiul! Boy do I miss that....

The sun is shining, the ground is snow covered and it is quite cold but beautiful!
It seems the last week has been very difficult on my DH with his swallowng and choking...sadly I already know this is a part of the progression of this terrible disease. I just keep praying the Dr.s at the ALS clinic will have something to ease it a bit. I believe that drug we applied for assistance for is suppose to help but I am not positive. He gets upset very easily with me right now and I never can say the right thing...I'm sure it's fear and frusteration but it still is hurtful. I know he is so afraid of what is to come. I am too........
The good thing is mornings are usually pretty good so we make the best of that.
