DD sent a quick email. She said that all is well. Her group was leaving the capital city to go to a much, much smaller city for training. She did not think that she would have easy access to the internet there so I should not worry if I did not hear from her for a while.
It certainly is a different experience. DD and I are extremely close. In fact, during college, we normally spoke to each other a couple times a week. And, after she graduated from college & was working it was very common for us to speak on the phone or exchange quick emails at least once or twice a day. And, of course, she lived with us for the past two years.
