Well, almost a week ago, little Sidney woke me up with his loud cries for help....and today, he is on a strong road to recovery. Last night about 11pm, a different Sidney emerged...he didnt want to sleep, he wanted to cuddle, to be pet over and over again--he couldnt get enough affection. His purrs were loud and strong...I was very happy to see all this from him!
He is eating, yes still the dry food only which completely puzzles me, but I'm happy that he is eating.
I have to shuffle from room to room this morning...he is on my feet constantly...999999999999999999999999999999999-----------------------------------------

That above, I left...that was from Sidney sitting on the computer keyboard....thought you would all enjoy that message from him. He is sitting here watching me type, of course getting kisses every few words lol.

Sidney is an absolute joy and a great addition to our home. All the worry is almost gone for me. Now I can hopefully look forward to a crazy little kitten running through the house hanging from the curtains, the need for a king sized bed because the queen wont fit all the cats, and a new baby to spoil each & every day. I will log on a little less since his activity is going to be increasing and to be quite honest, I have almost a weeks worth of neglected work and house work....bad me. But I have a great new fur baby to show for it...so no loss there!

Here are two pics this morning...one of Sidney reading all you kind words of support and the other of him typing his response to you all...I hope you enjoy and it brings a smile to your face, because you have all kept me inspired when I wondered if this little guy was going to make it....I have ALL of you to thank for his health. Many hugs to each of you!!

You have to stop posting these pictures. I'm either going to cry ... or walk the alleys tonight looking for some stray kittens to take in.

Well, it seems like your little heartbreaker has sucked in not only the entire population of the Cats forum, but also your husband and your cats. Good job, Sydney! LOL

Hello everyone! Just wanted to log on and let you know Sidney is playing today...for the first time other than looking like a kitten, he is acting like a kitten. Climbing on my wicker stools, batting a piece of crumbled paper around on the floor and following an injured fly around for a good 30 minutes...I was cracking up at him. He also attacked a small Snuggle puppet and won! Right now the brown flecks in the berber rug seems to have his attention...so many flecks of brown and only two front paws to attack with! I finally got him to eat some kitten food as I was worried he wasnt getting enough from the adult food...seems like I have a healthy kitten on my hands!

Its so funny, in the professional arena, I am a tough as nails, no nonsense type of gal.
But looking at the pix and reading about Sidney, I turn into a big ball of goo! Honestly though, I have always been a sucker for a cute, cuddly kitten.
I am so glad he is doing well, it restores my faith in the innate goodness of people.
