Boy, I think there maybe quite a few - you may want to be more specific.

There are a few real estate agents on there - I'm sure they could steer you in the right direction, but would probably need more info like:

What size house (sq. ft & how many bedrooms/baths)
What price range
What size lot
What style - sounds odd, but they have developments that are brick, some hardy plank, some vinyl sided -- some with Charleston singles (I believe that's what they're called) with garages behind the house, and usually multi color homes...

Do you have preferences on which schools within DDII, there are now I believe 3 high schools in DDII and some people would prefer their child attend the new HS.

Anyway - from what I can remember here I go: Myers Mill first comes to mind, because I have family and friends live there; Legend Oaks & Pine Forest, these all have pools (Legend Oaks and Pine Forest - on golf course). I'm sure there are tons more - but my I truly don't remember because the community pool wasn't a must for us. There are MANY developments in Summerville - it's actually a bit overwhelming.

Good luck!

There are plenty of subdivisions that might fit your needs. But without specifics, it is hard to pinpoint what you are looking for. Price range is probably the most important. If you would like, DM me and would be more than happy to help you out!!

sorry i didn't include this info originally!
we are renting for now, so our basic parameters are:
4 bed house or 3 bed plus frogg (or separate office room)
price not more than 1500 a month, prefer more like 1200
average sized lot (more than 8,000 ft2 preferred)
style is not as important, but we do prefer a ranch style home or one where the master bed is downstairs
we need a 2 car garage
are there differences in the elementary schools w/in DDII? We'd like to move into the best we can if at all possible

I hope that helps a bit. We are flexible since we're only renting and will buy when we spend more time in the area and hone our own preferences. mostly just want something big enough for family with little kids and things for them to do and other younger children around .

many thanks for all your help and suggestions!

Myers Mill off of Central Avenue has an awesome pool and is a great community that would fit into your parameters

Renting - is a different ball park than buying. Where you rent will depend on what's available when you move here.

there are a couple of houses for rent in Corey Woods and Waring Hall, but we don't have a pool anymore.
