The DNC Convention going on this week and some of you are in Uptown during this event.
This thread is for those Uptown or around convention activities within the Queen City to share what is happening.
Post videos, pictures or comment what you see, whether from a PC or mobile device.

Anyone know of Live Feeds please post them. I would love to have live feed from protestors like the ones that happen during the Occupy movement so that all angles are covered.

I found a live feed link from WSOC DNC Live Video | www.wsoctv.com

This one is very interesting. It's called The PPL. Apparently it's a media site in downtown that supports independent small news broadcasters and video bloggers. They also have events scheduled and online video. Click on Schedule.

The PPL | Charlotte's home for bloggers & online media during the #DNC2012

(I had not heard of Packard Place either)

We have had several members w/ broken "parts" lately . . . did this accident just happen?

Hope you will be on the mend quickly and that you are still enjoying Labor Day despite getting your wrist and elbow crunched. (ouch)

I won't be anywhere near the area to take pictures . . . just too much hassle with parking and heat. I wish I had made better plans and could have taken advantage of the space Frewroad mentioned. If I had known there is a space for bloggers, I would have made the effort to be near the action. Hubby and I decided months ago just to bow out of the confusion -- so I am depending on others to satisfy my curiosity about what's going on.

^ speed street on steroids.

Stonewall street was even bursting at the seems. Moved at a snails pace. Made sense given the lynx issue. But still... All the museums were crowded (Gantt had to stop people and o
Let 20 In for every 20 who came out. 45 minutes and I gave up on it).

News reporters everywhere....

Much much better version of speed street. I'm still fascinated at so many people on stonewall!!! This is one street I really want and have hope will become pedestrian friendly over the next decade
