What else can I tell you about Chimneys of Marvin? If you have questions, perhaps we should start a new thread so it is not under the Weddington Trace subject line.
It's a tricky time to be buying a home. I think the phase II at Weddington Trace will do well. Power lines are not close and lots are a good size. All brick homes with amazing upgrades, in a great school district makes this neighborhood hard to avoid.
Yeah WT is tough to say no too, but I wonder will prospective buyers balk at the lines even on the drive through to the back phase. We are sooo close to pulling the trigger there.

Evan, It seems your instincts have been telling you that the power lines are a bust. Follow your instincts..If the builder has to discount it that much to sell it brand new, then what are you going to have to do to sell it used? Each negative newspaper article that comes out will lower the value of your home whether it is true or not. RUN!!!!! JMO
We pulled the trigger already!!!!! Not sure where you can run to that won't have a negative of some kind, whether it be shopping center, smells, shooting range or mouldy crawlspaces, there's a negative everywhere you go.
Doorway you make a good point. I shouldn't have to justify my decision. I just called the wife after reading your post (I'm in Charlotte right now househunting). We're off the WT trail. Great neighborhood, bad powerlines......i'm heading to Lawson and Millbridge and I heard about a neighborhood Providence Forest near Ardrury Kell High School?? It's Orleans.
