Cool Lorenzo's

Yep, i just cross the road from my neighborhood - Southampton Commons and I am at Lorenzo's.
Looking forward to the Bagel/Deli place to open too!!!

what happened to the O'Rileys that was supposed to open near to the Mexican restaurant??? I am thinking they pulled out once that big sports bar place decided to build there.

I was looking forward to some fish and chips..
Will just have to keep on heading down to O'Shea's

uk2nc I don't know what happened to that bar... We were disappointed as well, as it would have been walking distance from our house! I think that big restaurant was always in the works for that shopping area. I thought perhaps the owner experienced financial troubles with this sudden downturn.

Either way I am sad to see it appears to not be going in...

We went to Lorenzo's for pizza tonight. It was great! Very crowded, but worth the wait. Definitely among the best pizza around.

Ive been once...amazing!! and my husband is there getting take out now. I highly recommend it too. We went one of the first nights it opened and the owner was funny...he couldn't beleive how packed it was on only their 3rd night. They hadn't even gotten the outside tables set up, people were sitting on the pavement it was so packed. I can't wait for the "diner" to open up.

Thumbs up Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Good!

Steve is the owner, and a neighbor of mine. I could say it is the best pizza in Charlotte, but you probably would not believe me, so just go and try it. I am from Long Island, and know good pizza, and this IS IT!

Calzones are awesome too!

Lorenzo's and the Brooklyn Pizza Parlor are the two best places in Charlotte. Period. Although BPP is far, it's much worth the drive, as Lorenzo's is much worth the wait. Just my 2 cents.
