No, it's just a wicked side effect from this current administration.

Take in an outdoor activity? Work in the yard/garden?

Had a busy week this past week. Self and DS went to the Jimmy Buffett concert on Tues. Then took the ladies of the family to go see Legally Blonde at Ovens this past Thurs. Also had a four digit car repair bill that was unexpected, so that was another drain! I just wanted to take it easy this weekend.

So, I ran errands on the m/c today. Great day for riding! Have to spread some mulch around the front of the house after dinner tonight and tomorrow morning. Then spread the fertilizer that I've been putting off.

I've been prom dress shopping for my daughter all day. We visited two malls and wedding shops and still found nothing. We arrived at David Bridals on Pineville Hwy at 7 p.m., and they were closed. Tomorrow will be doing the same thing, we will hunt for that perfect dress. Next year, for her senior year, we are going to NYC or Atlanta in March and go to a boutique shop and pick-up a dress. I find it so difficult here to find a decent dress--it shouldn't be this difficult. It's my fault for starting so late, but I did not think it will be this difficult.

If you kow of a dress boutique, please dm me. Thanks.

Just got back from a Crawdads baseball game in Hickory. Nice night out with the family, they even had fireworks after the game.

Okay, you guys. I think we have had two remarks about it being hot!!! You all do know this is considered mild weather? It is definitely not HOT!! Get ready w/ A/C if you are already heating up here . . . (And don't forget the sunscreen!!!) We gotta get everyone acclimated for summer - when it really DOES get hot . . .

DH and our neighbor were going to go, but bailed as they didn't want to sit in the sun.

It's a really nice facility. Used to go to Pomona in CA for NHRA races. Got to go in Z-Max in Sept for the inaugural race, although we got to sit in a nice cool suite.
