Gosh, we need to summarize this thread somehow . . . cause we have so many good ideas for weekend activities in everyone's posts - From yard work to doggie parks to strawberry picking to dancing to DIY.
Missed out on the original posting since I was out out out and about.
Thursday night was spent at my niece's karate exhibition and as luck would have it, it was also her 8th birthday. We all went and then dinner afterwards at a local BBQ place. Friday my sisters and I went birthday shopping and finished up all the arrangements for the party on Saturday before picking up the kids at school. Saturday morning my mother and I took my niece shopping (while a flurry of decorating and delivering went on at her house) and then we got our hair and nails done. It was back to her house for partying at 4pm. Then we all sat on my sister's front porch enjoying the evening air, watching the children play and chatting until around 10pm. Yesterday was spent gardening and working on the pool (how do those leaves get under the cover every year anyway?). All in all a great weekend.
Ohhh . . . BBQ. We need to have a weekly list of any groups that are sponsoring BBQ fundraisers.
