Water, Food, Ammo, Gas, Gold, & Cash: that is my strategy, in that order.
We're ready if it gets crazy.

IMHO if it all goes to crap, cash is the last thing you want to have...

But CLTCLT, where are the major banking collapses you predicted?!

LOL! Yeah, we missed ya, Sunny! You gotta catch up - we had some fun posts in July!

I was hoping Markh was gonna send me his Bermuda Burger recipe, but he never did. I can pass on my Kudzu Jelly recipe, tho.

I have heard you can make Kudzu wine, too. I thought that might be a good way to get thru/ an economic crisis . . . make some, sell some . . .

I have a group of friends who are Traders...ALL 3 of them swear it is coming. Scary stuff....but I certainly don't see things getting better in the near future. I guess all we can do now is pray and make sure that in 2010 we all get to the polls and make our voices heard! Personally...think we need to clean house (regardless of party) and get the PEOPLE need to take back control of our Government.

What calibers of ammo do you think will be the most important? Just curious.

If things really would deteriorate to such a condition, I would choose quantity over size.

GOOD GRIEF!! Hasn't there been enough shooting around??

If (and I do say IF) there was an economic collapse, all we would need would be a bunch of people running around brandishing their guns...what are we? the wild west of the 1800's??? (shakes head sadly)

Understood, but do you have an opinion on particular calibers that will be more in demand, thus worth more?

cc,

I would be protecting my family and our supplies/stuff, definitely NOT running around town.
