Sorry this article doesn't help you. Also sorry that you "still don't get it" (your words). But you're almost there. The "other article" you read concerns states right vs. what the Feds can mandate (Constitution).

Your last line says it all--- The Feds would like to believe that they CAN force everybody to do what the Constitution says (or is interpeted) as something they have the right to do.

As my good friend BS has indicated I am not on the Supreme Court or a lawyer, I am only responding to the OP post somewhere in the chat thread that praises this "moment-in-history" that will be challenged in our system.

I'm a lot smoother. Try this on: Late last nite the Senate voted against an amendment to the bill to barr the Gov. from purchasing Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs that will be used by sex offenders. You prolly think I'm joking right? Wrong. Check it out. Part of history in the making.

Work time-bye.

The pic was tongue-in-cheek, I found it amusing.

People cannot live a lifestyle eating horrible foods and soft drinks (liquid candy), not exercising, and expect to take a few pills to cure their ills.
We do not have a wellness industry, we have a sickness industry.
There is no incentive to cure anything, that does not pay very well.
What does pay well is getting you on a subscription, er, a prescription for a drug for decades.

Two years ago the Senate spent several days debating a cross-state monkey transportation bill.
Because as you know, monkey transportation is such a pressing issue.
